We decided to take advantage of Pioneer Day, and make it a four day weekend. We did a lot of fun things. My parents came down to visit also. Thanks for coming down, Dave and I had fun.
THURSDAY:
1. Watch the Enterprise Parade from our front lawn, and enjoyed visiting with Dave's cousins that came to take advantage of our good seats!
2. Drive to Duck Creek to pick up parts at the Polaris dealer, so we didn't have to order them.
3. Stop in Cedar on our way to Mesquite, Dave buys his own birthday present a new gun.
4. Go to Mesquite, and meet my parents and Dave's friend Glen, to eat at the new buffet in the Eureka Casino.
FRIDAY:
1. Spend the morning in Mesquite, and then drive back to Enterprise. We had my mom and dad follow us over the old highway... they haven't been that way in a long time.
2. Dave went to work on the Polaris we picked the part up for, but also stopped to sight in his gun. My parents and I just enjoyed a lazy afternoon at my house.
SATURDAY:
1. Took a day trip to Nevada for some sight seeing. We visited Cathedral Gorge State Park, Pioche and the Million Dollar Courthouse Museum, and stopped to eat in Panaca.
2. We went to a barbeque in Pine Valley with Dave's family for a early birthday party for Dave's sister Allison and Dave.
SUNDAY:
1. My parents went home, and Dave and I went out for a drive. Dave took his new gun for some target practice, and I tried my hand at shooting a 22 pistol.
Thanks to everyone involved in any of our weekend activities, we really had a lot of fun.
