Order in the.... "Million Dollar Courthouse"

Your honor...

I spy a Jury... or is that Jaime!

Which way do I go to find that Silver?

I thought these were some fun pictures from our trip to Pioche, and our tour of the "Million Dollar Courthouse."

Cathedral Gorge State Park, Nevada

Here are a few more pictures of our visit to Cathedral Gorge State Park. It is a fun place to visit not very far from Enterprise. It is really fun to hike around and so close to the formations.

Pioneer Day Weekend.

We decided to take advantage of Pioneer Day, and make it a four day weekend. We did a lot of fun things. My parents came down to visit also. Thanks for coming down, Dave and I had fun.

THURSDAY:
1. Watch the Enterprise Parade from our front lawn, and enjoyed visiting with Dave's cousins that came to take advantage of our good seats!
2. Drive to Duck Creek to pick up parts at the Polaris dealer, so we didn't have to order them.
3. Stop in Cedar on our way to Mesquite, Dave buys his own birthday present a new gun.
4. Go to Mesquite, and meet my parents and Dave's friend Glen, to eat at the new buffet in the Eureka Casino.
FRIDAY:
1. Spend the morning in Mesquite, and then drive back to Enterprise. We had my mom and dad follow us over the old highway... they haven't been that way in a long time.
2. Dave went to work on the Polaris we picked the part up for, but also stopped to sight in his gun. My parents and I just enjoyed a lazy afternoon at my house.
SATURDAY:
1. Took a day trip to Nevada for some sight seeing. We visited Cathedral Gorge State Park, Pioche and the Million Dollar Courthouse Museum, and stopped to eat in Panaca.
2. We went to a barbeque in Pine Valley with Dave's family for a early birthday party for Dave's sister Allison and Dave.
SUNDAY:
1. My parents went home, and Dave and I went out for a drive. Dave took his new gun for some target practice, and I tried my hand at shooting a 22 pistol.

Thanks to everyone involved in any of our weekend activities, we really had a lot of fun.

Tool Cabinets...before Monday!

Dave has been purchasing a lot of supplies and new tools for his business, so he decided he really needed some steel tool cabinets to put up in his trailer. Saturday we went to Cedar checking every store in town that may carry such an item with no such luck. When we returned home he decided to look again at the cabinets in the Harbor Freight catalog. However if you know anything about Dave, when he wants something he wants it now! After a few phone calls amazingly he was able to arrange to have two cabinets picked up and delivered from Las Vegas in less than 24hrs. Thank you Blake for picking them up at the store, and Allison for arranging for Sunday afternoon delivery! I was just glad he got his cabinets without having to drive down and back ourselves. I would be up for a quick trip any other time, but not this weekend because I seemed to catch a nasty summer head cold. Above is Dave getting almost finished with assembly of cabinet #2, followed by #2 finished product. After 2 I guess we are pros at assembling steel tool cabinets!

Boring People

I have decided we just must be boring people because everyone has a lot of things to post on their blogs, but I haven't even changed mine in a long time. We just haven't been up to much. Dave has been busy working every weekend, so that just doesn't leave much time for anything else. I guess the most excitement here is after Dave putting in a long hard day of work Saturday, and me a shopping trip in St. George... we went to eat at the Brandin' Iron Steakhouse in Pine Valley. It is a place close to home we really enjoy just to get out for an evening.
